Finance Training for Budget Owners and Approvers – CARE USA

December 18, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

This training is designed for Budget Owners and Approvers. This training is composed of two parts: 1) understanding “procure-to-pay” (or procurement processes) from 10:00-12:00 pm (EST), and 2) the fundamentals of financial management from 1:00-3:00 pm (EST).

Completion of boths parts of the training will result in the ability to:

  • recall recent changes to the CARE USA Domestic Procurement Policy (e.g., increased used of purchase requisitions, purchases orders, etc.)
  • demonstrate how to request and approve the use of CARE resources
  • summarize the fundamentals of CARE financial management
  • select and make use of basic tools used to make informed and timely financial decisions

*Lunch is not included.

Required for: All CARE USA Budget Owners and Approvers

Attendance: In-person (There is a session being held in both the Atlanta and DC office. When you click the Enroll Here button below you will be able to enroll in either the Atlanta or DC session.)
