Gender, Equality & Diversity 101 – CARE USA

Gender, Equality & Diversity (GED) 101 focuses on managing diversity & inclusivesness in a multi-cultural workforce.

Completion of this training will allow participants to:

  • be introduced to the many dimensions of diversity including, but not limited to gender, ethnicity, race, age, culture, disability, sexual orientation, hierarchy, privilege, and diversity of thought.
  • discuss how the dimensions of diversity impact us personally and contribute to, or undermine, our effectiveness in the workplace.
  • examine how our differences and similarities impact our organizational life and gain immediately deployable skills to function effectively in a diverse and complex workplace.
  • introduced to CARE’s approach to gender equity and diversity through exploration of our differences and similarities, and linking the learning to our programming work in the developing world.

Required for: CARE-USA employees
